Our Commitment
At Skyliner we take pride in producing rugged, long-lasting products built to exceed the demands of years of adventure travel. We stand behind every component we manufacture.
Coverage
Skyliner provides a Limited 5-Year Warranty on parts and workmanship for Skyliner-manufactured products. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions and applies to all Skyliner-branded frame components, panels, hardware, and specialty fixtures.
Warranty Transferability
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is transferable to subsequent owners of the vehicle in which the Skyliner components are installed, provided the components remain in their original installation configuration. Transferees should contact support@skylinergear.com to register a warranty transfer.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, modifications, or conditions beyond normal use
- Cosmetic panel damage that does not affect structural integrity or function (see Cosmetic Damage below)
- Third-party products sold by or through Skyliner — those carry the respective manufacturer’s warranty
Warranty Resolution
Skyliner will address valid warranty claims by one of the following, at our discretion:
- Providing replacement parts and instructions to correct the defect
- Replacing the component with a similar or upgraded part, subject to availability
- Issuing store credit if a discontinued product cannot be repaired or replaced
Because our PaneLock™ fastening system allows individual panels to be removed and replaced without disassembling the full unit, panel-level resolution is often the fastest and most practical outcome for many claims.
Cosmetic Damage
Skyliner’s HPL panels are built tough — but van life happens. Cosmetic damage to panels that does not affect structural integrity or function is not covered under the 5-Year Warranty. However, because PaneLock™ fasteners make individual panel replacement relatively straightforward, replacement panels are available at low cost. Contact support@skylinergear.com and we’ll get you sorted out.
Third-Party Products
Skyliner does not warrant third-party products sold through our site or included as part of a system. Contact the respective manufacturer directly for warranty claims on third-party components.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed and a return is authorized by Skyliner. No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization from support@skylinergear.com.
Installation
Skyliner is not liable for personal injury or property damage resulting from improper installation.
How to Make a Claim
Contact support@skylinergear.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. Skyliner will respond within 3–5 business days.
