Our Custom Van Layout service helps you visualize your complete van build before ordering. Here's how it works:

1. Share your vision: Tell us about your van model, how you'll use it, and what features matter most to you

2. Get your Free VanPlan: This is a top-view floor plan of your van, with colored boxes showing where everything you described will lay out.

3. Get a 3D mock-up quote: We review our existing models and get you pricing to create your layout with Skyliner components.

4. Create a 3D mock-up: We adjust our Skyliner models and lay them out accurately in your van model floor.

5. Get renders and a quote: You'll receive renders showing your dream layout, and a detailed quote for your custom components.

6. Order when ready: No pressure—order all at once or start with one component and expand over time

Absolutely! While our Custom Van Layout service is designed for complete builds, we customize individual components all the time. Common modifications include:

• Adjusting overall length, width, or height to fit your exact space
• Changing panel colors to match your existing design
• Swapping fridge sizes or configurations
• Adding extra drawers or cabinet space
• Modifying sink or countertop placement

Contact us with your component and desired changes—we'll confirm feasibility and provide a quote. Most single-component customizations add a couple hundred dollars and 1-2 weeks to the standard 4-6 week lead time.

Since each component is custom-built to your van and color specifications, we can't accept standard returns. However, before production begins we can make any number of changes to your order, and in the event of a cancellation you'll only be charged for any unique parts purchased for your build. And of course all manufacturing defects are fully covered with our 5 year full warranty. We strongly recommend using our free Custom Layout service to ensure everything is perfect before ordering multiple components.

Most customers install Skyliner components themselves in 1-3 hours using basic tools. Our aluminum frame with Infinity™ brackets makes it straightforward to mount securely to L-track, floor D-rings, or through-bolt to your van floor.

Connecting plumbing and wiring is significantly easier with Skyliner builds as well, since space for routing and often pass-through openings are integrated into most designs.

Our 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including the aluminum frame, HPL panels, hardware, and Infinity™ brackets. Basically we stand behind that all the components that make up your Skyliner galleys, cabinets, etc will stand the test of time and adventures. Normal wear and tear, improper installation, or modifications are not covered.

Our products are designed for Mercedes Sprinter (144, 170 and 170 EXT) and Ford Transit (Long, Extended), but often fit other vans with minor modifications. Most driver side galleys are universal, while wheel well cabinets just need fender location measurements for adjustment. Our parametric design system makes custom sizing straightforward. Share your van details and we'll confirm fitment.

You can start with any single component! Our modular system is designed so you can buy what you need now and expand later. Many customers start with a kitchen galley or wheel well cabinet and add more components as their build progresses.

Hell to the no!! Our aluminum frames are rock-solid, with all connections verified compression tightened to spec. Our PaneLock™ fastener system securely attaches panels to frame with no visible hardware, yet panels are removable when and if needed. Soft-close drawer slides, hinges and other quality hardware eliminates opportunities for unwanted movement throughout. Multiple customer reviews specifically mention "no rattles" as a favorite feature. We design for thousands of miles of road vibration in blessed peace and quiet.

This is mostly a detail to think about on the passenger side of your van and mostly relates to sleeping configurations: East/West versus North/South.

If you have an East/West sleeping configuration, you can have a compact wheel well cabinet and an extended Oasis Galley, as the compact cabinets are 56 inches and the extended galley will reach back behind the C-pillar, giving you a longer overall galley with more countertop space.

If you have a North/South sleeping configuration, you would want an extended wheel well cabinet and the compact galley. The compact galley does not extend behind the C-pillar and the sink position is farther forward, so you still have a usable passenger galley with the longer bed system.

It depends on your layout preference:

• Oasis Series: Passenger side, outdoor cooking access, 65L-85L fridges
• Quest Series: Driver side, maximum storage and countertop space, 85L-130L fridges
• Voyager Series: Driver side, mid-size option, 65L+ fridges
• Wanderer Series: Driver side, cooler-ready design
• Aero Series: Compact option for any location, 50L-65L fridges
